Baffling Comparison Places Kindergarten Cop In Silent Hill

Pyramid Head isn't evil, he scarcely has a tumor.

Ready for completely outre cross-media gene linkage? Settled on a series of images culled from Konami's original PlayStation release of Silent Hill and the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger film Kindergarten Cop, the deuce properties apparently take place in the same location.

I know what you'ray thinking. "Nex, Mute Hill is set in a dazed, non-descript townsfolk full of necromantic horrors and the physical manifestation of psychological trauma, while Kindergarten Thieve is gear up in Astoria, Oregon! You've been to Astoria! You should know the difference!"

Yes reader, you are correct. I've been to Astoria oft. It's only a few hours away. Never once altogether my time at that place did I e'er receive a single twitch life monstrosity, but but then, I also never encountered a Exterminator robot shouting at a social class of 6 year olds. Indeed really, who am I to doubt the findings of a grouping of obsessive Implied Hill fans?

If you don't believe me, get a look at the images in the veranda down the stairs, taken from a recent post on Implicit Hill Forum DoT com. In that post a exploiter calling his/herself "Giromancy," offers little in the way of editorializing, instead letting the images and their blatant similarities, do every the talk.

Now, acknowledged, there is a pretty likely and wholly believable account for this. Silent James Jerome Hill was originally created aside a team of Japanese developers, so IT stands to reason that the devs would look for somewhat hide sources of Americana on which to base the heterogeneous decorations they had to spread out throughout their sleepy-eyed, horrifying town. It's not entirely impossible that the team watched Kindergarten Cop and innocuously swiped a hardly a details here and on that point.

Of course of instruction, on that point's also the possibleness that this is a long-dormant aspect of the game's inexplicit horror that Konami hoped had been lost to the sands of time. Maybe the lyssa of Silent Hill is invasive into our reality, retroactively altering beloved classic films in its gradual, nefarious pursuance to absorb us all into that terrific fog.

Actually, that's a beautiful lumpish idea. It's plausibly just a weird coincidence.
